Also not well recognized is the enormous amount of energy and talent teens can contribute to making their communities safer. The whole Teens, Crime, and the Community initiative is based on the premise that crime victimizes us individually and collectively, and that crime prevention solutions involve both watching out and helping out.
Developed by the Youth Initiative of the National Center for Victims of Crime in partnership with the National Crime Prevention Council, this handbook was designed to help adults work more effectively with teenage victims of crime.
